Information

Built in the early 1920's as a holiday cottage, it was relocated in 1998 then totally redecorated in January 1999 in its original style, with care taken to preserve the native rimu and totara timbers used throughout. Electricity has been added. The cottage features queen room, double room, small kitchen/dining/lounge and beautiful bathroom with clawfoot bath and shower. There is a small wood fire, and the sunny verandah looks out to mountains over a rural garden and pond.

Wake to the sound of the birds and enjoy a sumptuous continental style breakfast with fresh local fruit (in season), cereal, yoghurt and breads. Tea, coffee and toast making facilities are available in the cottage, plus microwave and gas BBQ. View our photograph gallery or read more information.
